Frances Smith - Senior Occupational Therapist and Director

Frances graduated from Charles Sturt University in 2005 with Bachelor of Science (occupational therapy) (honors). Frances further advanced her qualifications with a masters in primary teaching, from University of South Australia graduating in 2011. Frances has a wealth of experience working in with children and adults in hospital and community settings across Australia. Her expertise encompasses a wide spectrum of services, including community aged care, inpatient general medical wards, and specialized outpatient hand therapy. Frances has a profound commitment to empowering both children and adults in community disability services, leveraging innovative therapeutic interventions and cutting-edge assistive technology solutions. Frances is enthusiastic about increasing her client’s participation and engagement in their environments, through therapeutic intervention or equipment provision. Her dynamic methodology ensures tailored strategies that elevate client independence and enrich their quality of life. Through collaboration and evidence-based practices, Frances is dedicated to transforming lives and enhancing holistic well-being providing occupational therapy and assistive technology services to children and adults.

Deanne Lee - Senior Occupational Therapist

Deanne graduated from Curtin University with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy in 2006. She has since worked across multiple areas of Occupational Therapy in acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, private sector with the Department of Veteran’s Affairs, and early supported discharge and in-home rehabilitation through the Transitional Care Program in QLD and Rehabilitation in the Home in WA. Deanne is passionate about every client feeling that they have been heard by their allied health professionals, and prioritizes learning their unique story to guide goals, improve quality of life and build purpose into every day. She uses her creativity, experience, and focus on client-centeredness to work collaboratively with clients and their carers towards meaningful interactions, independence and enjoyment. Her areas of interest include: cognitive rehabilitation, minor home modifications, fatigue management and sleep, equipment prescription, falls prevention, stroke and mindfulness.

Harleen Dhammu - Occupational Therapist

Harleen is a caring and passionate occupational therapist with experience within the NDIS and internationally. She graduated from Curtin University with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy in 2021 with First Class Honours. Within the NDIS space she has worked in the community with people of all ages, across metropolitan Perth and the Shire of Gingin. She also spent a year in London working in community and school-based paediatrics. Harleen’s approach is holistic and compassionate, with a focus on person-centred care. Dedicated to fostering confidence and independence, Harleen works closely with clients and their families throughout the whole process.
